🎯 Low Odds vs Zero Odds

Low odds means the dragon is possible but uncommon. Gemstone dragons are like this — the Crackle Dragon is documented at roughly 5% per attempt. Fifteen failures in a row is completely normal, and persistence genuinely works.

Zero odds means the dragon is not in the pool at all. No number of attempts will produce it. A gemstone dragon out of season, a Moon Dragon at lunchtime, an event dragon that has no combo — these are not unlucky, they are impossible.

Key insight: the two feel identical from the player’s side. Both look like “I keep failing.” The difference is that one needs patience and the other needs a change. Before you commit to another twenty attempts, spend two minutes confirming which situation you are actually in.

Hard restrictions: some dragons simply cannot be bred in certain places. The Ghostly Spectre Dragon must be bred outside the Rift — Rift attempts will never produce it, no matter how many you make. That one catches experienced players especially, because “just use the Rift” is normally good advice.

The fix: gemstones on the Epic Breeding Island; check whether your target has a location restriction before committing.
