Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 October 2026

This policy explains what information is collected when you visit DragonVale World Guide (dragonvaleworldguide.com), who collects it, and the choices you have. The site is run by an individual fan; you can reach the operator at [email protected].

What we collect ourselves

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not sell personal data. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message, and use it only to reply and to make corrections.

Information stored in your browser by our tools

The Collection Tracker, Park Planner and comparison list save your choices in your browser’s local storage (keys beginning with dvwg.). This data stays on your device and is never sent to our server. Clearing your browser’s site data deletes it.

Third-party services

  • Google Analytics (installed through Google Site Kit) measures visits — for example pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser — using cookies and similar technology. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdSense shows advertising and may use cookies to show ads, limit how often you see them and measure them. Ads may be personalised where the law allows and you have agreed. You can manage ad personalisation at Google Ad Settings and learn more at how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Google consent messaging (Funding Choices) may ask visitors in some regions, such as the EEA and UK, for consent before advertising cookies are used, and records that choice.
  • Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. It processes technical request data such as IP address and browser details to do this. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
  • Amazon: some articles link to Amazon. If you follow one, Amazon may set cookies to credit the referral. Their handling of your data is covered by Amazon’s privacy notice.

Your choices

  • You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works, though advertising and statistics may change.
  • Where a consent message is shown, you can accept or refuse non-essential cookies, and change your choice later through the same message.
  • You can install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, or to object to its use. Because we hold very little ourselves (mainly emails you send), most requests about analytics or advertising data are handled through Google’s tools linked above. For anything else, email [email protected].

Children

The site is a general-audience game guide. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If the services we use change, we will update this page and its date.
